Aims and Scope of the journal

The ESRF Research Journal for Undergraduate Medical Students (RJUMS) is an official publication of the Eureka Scientech Research Foundation, Kolkata, a Non-Government, Non-Profit Organisation working in the field of health and research.  ESRF-RJUMS is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that provides a platform for undergraduate medical/ dental students for publication and wider dissemination of original research undertaken by them during their undergraduate years, including project works undertaken as part of their academic curriculum. It is published as a biannual journal in English since June 2023.

ESRF RJUMS publishes original research articles, case reports, case series, editorial, review, short communication, letter to the editor, viewpoint, CME, etc, which are related to the Medical and Dental Sciences. The first author for all original articles and case reports must necessarily be undergraduate medical students up to internees, while the other sections are open to students and faculty alike. Review articles and editorials of interest to the undergraduate medical/ dental/nursing students are generally invited from faculty of medical/ dental/ nursing colleges, but can also be published by students after review from editorial board members. Two issues are published annually in both print and electronic format in January and July. The journal is freely accessible online at https://esrfrjums.co.in/.

Archiving policy

The ESRF Research Journal for Undergraduate Medical Students uses PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS Program for long term Archiving of its contents.
